What it covers

Finding vulnerabilities is half the value of a penetration test. PAYLOAD supplies the other half: turning a completed report, clearly written or confusing, into direction an organisation can act on, for the organisation that commissioned it or the testers who wrote it. Findings are translated into business risk language for leadership and into specific architectural improvements for security architects.

Remediation that treats each finding in isolation fixes symptoms without resolving the control failures that produced them. PAYLOAD also chains findings together into realistic attack paths, adversarial simulations showing how several moderate findings combine into a critical route to compromise given the organisation’s actual posture.

Why NZCAT

Aotearoa New Zealand has no shortage of skilled penetration testers. The gap is rarely technical skill. It is the story a finding needs to secure the right level of prioritisation and budget from leadership, and most test reports are not written to tell it. PAYLOAD exists to tell that story, for the organisation that commissioned the test or the firm that ran it.
